Or at least run in a race. My speed is still missing. I completely sprinted on the treadmill for 30 seconds...and my "sprint" was a lackluster 7:30 min. mile pace. POOEY.
Perhaps a Valentine's day fun run? Hey PNW'ers, any suggestions?

I'm doing the Shamrock Run 8K in Portland (March 13) and I've heard there are "Valentine's Day Sucks" runs, but I'm not sure when or where.
a valentine's day fun run sounds well... fun! :)
I wish I could hit a 7:30 pace at any time! Your body has been through a lot so remember that you need to give it time to heal!
Let's do it! I'm looking now...
Keep me posted ladies, I am totally interested.. and pretty sure I already have the socks for it..
You are too funny! Most of your readers will probably gasp at thinking a 7:30 sprint is lackluster! Someone get this girl a race!!! LOL! I hope you find one soon chica! It's been far too long since I've read a Zoe Race Recap! :)
Mel is always prepared!! You'll get there with the speed but 7:30 sounds great to me!!! Once I got back to being me after my daughter a crazy thing happened...I am faster than before! Go figure!
be proud of that time and moving! nice job!
I wish I can have your lackluster 7:30 min/mile pace. :)
People will think that I am Speedy Gonzales!
Good luck finding a race :) All races are "closed for the season" around here until April. Glad you're feel up to sprinting again. Goober might grow up to be a racecar driver with how fast that jogger will be going :)
Half-marathon training started today for me :) Wish me luck!
I have the socks too!!!!!! I wanna come!! Oh you guys are killing me.... =(
If you can't find a Valentine's day one there is a St. Paddy's Day one in Tacoma.
A Valentine's run sounds like so much fun. If y'all don't find one local, there could always be a virtual one!
There is the Love 'em or Leave 'em Valentine's Day 5K race at Greenlake (Feb 12th). I did it last year - it was fun! :)
I need a valentines day race myself!
There's something about a race that just get you going, right?!
Sounds like you've got a posse ready to run! Have fun!
Winks & Smiles,
Wifey
There is nothing wrong with a 7:30 pace. It's great!
